About Us

Our story

My first exposure to flowers was through my mom. I came home to visit, and my mom had planted roses. I was fascinated with the colors, the bees and this deep feeling of happiness. I was hooked.

Lavender came later as I looked for ways to relax and create happiness and calm in my world. I loved exploring the use of lavender in lotions, soaps, candles, and food. My husband and I grew flowers and lavender in our backyard garden, but we wanted more. We wanted a business that would bring this happiness to others. So, Lavender & Blooms Farm became our dream.

We came to this area three years ago. My husband and I are both registered nurses and grew up near this area and wanted to come back. The beauty and stillness of this place spoke to our hearts.

Our farm includes ½ an acre of specialty cut flowers, a small perennial garden, and over 400 lavender plants including seven different varieties. We also have one dog (Lulu), two mini donkeys (Annie and Opie), and a small herd of Gelbvieh cows.

We feel so honored to be on this property and to spend time in nature that we are committed to ethical and sustainable farming. We use environmentally friendly techniques, organic fertilizers, regenerative farming practices, and responsible water management to nurture our crops.

We want to leave this land better than we found it. Our dedication to sustainable practices not only ensures premium quality flowers and lavender but also contributes to a healthier planet.
